Non-profit Association for Social Promotion devoted to sociological culture, territorial research and public dissemination of knowledge.
Fuori Luogo APS pursues civic, solidarity-based and socially useful purposes with no profit-making aims. It promotes cultural and scientific initiatives in the fields of sociology, social sciences, territory, tourism, technology, environment and gender studies, fostering dialogue among research, communities, institutions and local contexts.
About the Association
Fuori Luogo APS is an institutional and civic actor established to advance social promotion through cultural, scientific and educational initiatives. Its activities are expressly non-profit and are directed towards the enrichment of communities, territories and public debate.
The Association works through research, training, cultural programming, editorial projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing territories, promoting sociological knowledge, supporting inclusion, preventing social discrimination and strengthening access to culture as a shared public good.
The Journal as the Main Project
The principal project promoted by the Association is Fuori Luogo. Journal of Sociology of Territory, Tourism, Technology, an open-access scientific journal dedicated to sociological reflection on spaces, places and territories. The journal adopts double-blind peer review procedures and contributes to the international dissemination of sociological research.

Fields of Activity
The Association develops and supports initiatives of general interest, with particular attention to the cultural, scientific and social value of sociological knowledge.

Organisation of social, statistical and economic research; documentation, analysis and dissemination of knowledge for social and territorial development.
Training and education
Seminars, courses, schools of advanced training and educational initiatives, including activities designed to prevent educational poverty, school dropout and bullying.
Territory, tourism and heritage
Activities for the promotion of local heritage, cultural tourism, landscapes and public or private cultural assets, with attention to fragile and peripheral contexts.
Inclusion and digital culture
Projects on diversity management, equal opportunities, anti-discrimination practices and digital cultures, including applications, archives, software and artificial intelligence tools.

Fuori Luogo APS accepts liberal donations to support its statutory social purposes, cultural initiatives, scientific dissemination and projects of general interest.
